Go Caving with the

Greater Allentown Grotto

of the

National Speleological Society

The Greater Allentown Grotto (GAG) is a local chapter of the National Speleological Society (NSS) dedicated to the study and conservation of caves and their natural contents, and to fellowship among its members.

Membership is open to anyone who shares these goals.  We offer our members safe caving experiences, training in caving, first aid classes, equipment rental, and a Grotto library.  Dues are $10.00 per year which includes a subscription to the newsletter - Pack Rat Scat.  Contact Vince Kappler for membership information or download an application.

Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Sunday of each month at the Pool Wildlife Sanctuary, 601 Orchid Place (Approx. 2.5 miles south of Interstate 78 at Exit 55), Emmaus, PA.

Let us combine our knowledge, discuss our past adventures, and plan for some new ones.   Join us for meetings, outings, and good fellowship.
