GAG MEETINGS
Meetings are held at 7:00 PM on the third Sunday of each month at the Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus, PA. See the Calander for exact dates. If you missed a meeting, visit the Minutes Archive to see what happened without you.
The Pool Wildlife Sanctuary is located in Emmaus, Pennsylvania 4.2 miles from center-city Allentown and 2.5 miles from the Cedar Crest Boulevard exit from I-78. |
From I-78: (Exit 55 off I-78)
Exit at Cedar Crest Boulevard (Route 29).
Turn south (towards Emmaus) onto Cedar Crest Boulevard.
Follow directions from Allentown (below).
From Allentown:
Follow Cedar Crest Boulevard (Route 29) south to the intersection of Riverbend Road, 1.3 miles from the I-78 exit.
Turn left onto Riverbend Road.
Take the first right onto Orchid Place and proceed down the hill.
At the white bridge (on the right, about 0.3 miles), turn right and cross bridge into the Sanctuary.
Stay straight and go past the barn on the left.
Please do not block access to the road or the barn when parking.
From Bethlehem:
Travel through Fountain Hill on Emmaus Avenue towards the Borough of Emmaus.
One mile past I-78, turn right at the "Y" onto Harrison Street.
Follow to Macungie Avenue (3rd stop sign); turn right; road turns into Orchid Place.
At the bottom of the hill, turn left and cross bridge into the Sanctuary.
Stay straight and go past the barn on the left.
Please do not block access to the road or the barn when parking.
From Emmaus and South:
Take Cedar Crest Boulevard (Route 29) north.
Turn right onto North Street.
Take first left onto Macungie Avenue; road turns into Orchid Place.
At the bottom of the hill, turn left and cross bridge into the Sanctuary.
Stay straight and go past the barn on the left.
Please do not block access to the road or the barn when parking.
